6.5 MOA would be my choice, seems like a lot of guys start with 3 MOA which I think is too small for typical pistol stuff imo.
I find some new pistols are dead on while other need some adjustment, so even if "set" I would not be be shocked if they need a little adjustment.
Anything more...
Good post! I cant get past the nonpistol grip options. I think I can live with the pined mag, but what other standard rifles are worth looking at. I like the mini 14 but seems like a gut of guys are not all that happy with them.
I have not sent a pistol out for this so take it for what it is worth. If durability of the sight is a top priority than there is nothing better than the RMR. I would also be cautious on the MOA size of the dot choice.
As far as sighting in from the company I would not care. I dont find...
Thanks guys!!!!
I did not word the OP well when I said Full feature look I really meant I want the pistol grip. I have handled and shot several of the compliant stocks and dont like the feel of them. If the pinned mag thing is too much of a pain I will stay away from the ARs. I have seen a...
I will start by saying I dont know crap about ARs so dont assume I know anything..
I think I would enjoy plinking with an AR but dont know where to start with all the options. I do a bid of bench shooting with a bolt rifle that I reload for. The range I belong to max distance is 200 yards. I...
Im in the Rochester area and belong to a range that goes out to 200 yards. I could bring you in as a guest if you wanted to try stretch it out a little.
My MK3 22/45 will go a long time without cleaning. When it gets gummed up I get a lot of light strikes.
The trigger kit you are getting is great, but I would recommend changing the trigger to one with an over travel adjustment.
Yes not an exact comparison. But I have used 40 mag in my G34 several times at the range without issue, because I had forgot mags and a buddy had 40 mags. Difference is the 40 mags were 10 rounders compared to the vid. I have run about 20 mags of 9 through the 40 mags without issue. I have...
Well, I was not good on the trigger today!! The 200 yard target is a though one to boot!! Half of my pulls were real bad. 28 points

The gen 5s I have shot had good resets. If you have a local gun shop to feel another gen 5 and make sure yours is not right and if not send it into Glock. I have herd from several people that they have great CS.
You might look into selling your current rifle, and buying a new chassis rifle. The last time I looked into getting a chassis to replace my cheep stock on my Savage it was like $600 or so by the time I have a stock and mags.
Dont feel bad!! I knew it could be an issue. I had limited time at the rifle range and did not want to set up targets that I couldnt see well. It takes me a few minutes to walk down 200 yards and back..
I only posted the target to try to create a little more action in the competition forum...
Just got back from shooting. I do have a 200 yard target but not sure if what I did was ok. I put shoot and see dots over the bull to be able to see it. If not ok disregard target score 49/1x.
lol, I did not measure it but the bullets are 223.....

when I bought my 223 bolt rifle I tried many different standard ammo and could not get any of it near moa. Mo problem with match. That is why I started to reload, make match ammo at standard ammo price
I know our laws are restricting, but 10 round of rifle ammo is a good start!! One of the port re-loaders I saw looked pretty easy.
Being that it is a pistol can it be loaded in a vehicle?
I guy at the range I belong to bought the match rifle to shoot in the CMP matches and had nothing but trouble with it. The groups were terrible. He sent it in to SA twice and it was no better. With the best ammo in it reloads or factory it would not touch the performance of his M1 with a 70...
The OP was talking about a 300 BO deal. I only linked that as to be sure I understood the "type" of pistol in the discussion, not a recommendation. I believe the 300 BO performs well in a short barrel.
Well I learned a couple things today.. I didnt think we could have a pistol like that in NYS and never would have guest something like that would be so shootable. I checked out a few guys on youtube shooting them and they were much more accurate than what I would have figured. At typical deer...
I bought a used G26 that came with a AG holster. The shell fit like crap, I did not contact AG(the shell design is different now). When a friend bought a Shield and was tight on cash and couldnt buy a holster I gave it to him. He called to get the shell exchanged, and they updated new model...
Are you talking about something like this but in 300 BO?
SAA Dragon's Head Complete AR-15 Pistol - 5.56, Phosphate BCG, 2 Magpul Gen 3 Pmags, & Magpul ASAP Sling Attachment
I would have to think the K-31 would be much better for deer hunting.
I hope they can be successful in the new shop. But, I hear they wont carry reloading stuff. If might be tough to do well not selling the consumables that bring people into the store. I think at the old shop the had a ton of reloading stock but most of it was the less common stuff and they...

Here is some pic of the markings, it seem that they are important to its value. From what I have found I believe it is not a marine or a Japanese issues pistol but not 100% sure.
Well to be honest I knew nothing about it when starting the thread... I was hoping someone would know these pistols and could share their knowledge.
I have found that it is a 1934 because of the hump on the grip. The caliber is shown in the pic 7.65 which is 32. I will have to post some more...
A friend has this pistol and is thinking of selling it but cant seem to get a handle on its value. It is currently on his permit. It came from his uncle who brought it back from WW2. It shoots very well. Any help on determining its value would be great.
