Yeah, I agree, the optics. As the Trump administration gives them every off-ramp, every opportunity. President Trump knows the terrorist regime won't take any off-ramp offered and will insist on continuing to be a fanatical predator in the region and the world. Then they leave the United States and Israel with no choice.

Then President Trump can fully unleash the US military, along with the Israeli military keeping on doing what they do, and KaBOOM! Big KaBOOOMS!

As far as the so-called ceasefire goes. Either President Trump doesn't listen to his advisers. Or he does, and his advisers don't know what they're doing. Everyone knows the Iranian fanatics who are in charge can't be trusted.

Or, President Trump and his staff obviously know that, and they're setting things up for the final push. Maybe to catch Iran off guard and bomb the bridges and power plants when the human shields made up of Iranian citizens aren't there. That sort of thing.

IDK, I'm just thinking out loud. But I don't believe that President Trump or his staff thought for a second that Iran could be trusted to abide by the so-called ceasefire, so there's more to it. I think it's another chess move to achieve the actual objective(s) sort of thing.

The real question is "who *is* in charge of Iran now". Before you can get an agreement for anything you need to know you're talking to someone who can actually implement their half of the agreement.

It's quite possible that we have *already* affected a regime change, and the new regime is even worse than the last.

The solution there is to just keep killing "supreme leaders" until you find one you can deal with.
